Today I finally got out into Paris!
I met Soso, my mom's godmother, for lunch near Musée d'Orsay. After our poulet grandmère, we decided to go for a walk instead of the museum. We crossed the Seine and walked toward La Madeleine, and then past l'Opéra Garnier. Since it is Sunday, most stores were closed, but we did plenty of window shopping! After, we stopped in a café near La Madeleine for "un déca" (decaf espresso) and then went to Monoprix. It was so great getting to spend time with her, share stories, and speak lots of French!
Reid Hall orientation starts tomorrow!
